Critchfield Specialty Infusion Group LLC is a Joint Commission Certified, national staffing agency that provides supplemental staffing of Registered Nurses to specialty pharmacies for the administration of high-risk medications in the comfort of the patient’s home. Critchfield Specialty Infusion Group is not a home health agency, but instead a conduit between specialty pharmacies and our network of qualified Infusion Nurses. The Infusion Nurses specialize in the administration of high-risk medications to chronically ill patients with the goal of providing safe, high-quality services that the patient and their family deserve. In addition, the Infusion Nurses never leave the patient during any infusion, while also closely monitoring their response to the infusion. During the infusion, the Infusion Nurses start the infusion very slowly and carefully titrate up the rate per a specific protocol as ordered by the physician, and as tolerated by the patient. This tight control of the infusion greatly reduces any side effects and encourages the patient to be compliant with their therapy. Not only does home infusion therapy promote a higher quality of life, but it can also be less expensive and provide the patient with a better overall outcome. Also, the Infusion Nurses provide a superior level of personalized care to patients with chronic disorders.
